Cerenion C-Trend technology awarded new patent in the USA

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has awarded Cerenion's C-Trend technology a patent related to C-Trend Index algorithm.
The patent is third in the USA and seventh in total.
The patent gives strong protection to the C-Trend Index algorithm. The EEG signal is processed by the C-Trend Index algorithm in C-Trend technology to produce the C-Trend Index, which is a single number. The Index is a single value between 0 and 100 that describes the patient's EEG slow wave activity. Slow wave activity, which takes place during sedation and deep sleep, is crucial for a healthy brain.
Cerenion C-Trend technology has been granted patents in the United States, The European Union, Japan, and China and multiple intellectual property applications have been filed worldwide.
