C-Trend® EEG Station
Continuous EEG at your fingertips
C-Trend EEG Station brings modern EEG tools to the hands of acute care doctors and nurses. Designed for ease of use and clarity for clinicians that are not necessarily EEG specialists
C-Trend EEG Station makes EEG
- Accessible - Also available when EEG specialists are not. Start recording by attaching C-Trend® EEG Electrode in minutes
- Quantitative - The raw EEG signals are transformed into numeric form for easier interpretation
- Continuous – Record EEG for up to 24 hours at a time, then continue by simply changing the Electrode. Have real-time access to trends to review changes in the patient’s status

Harnessing the power of AI
Slow-Wave Activity (SWA)
Index that varies between 0 and 100. It detects activity below 1 Hz, which is a normal EEG background pattern occurring e.g. during propofol sedation. Values between 80 and 100 are an indication of high normal slow-wave activity.
Burst-Suppression Ratio (BSR)
Measures the percentage of suppressed periods in the EEG. BSR ranges from 0% (continuous EEG) to 100% (completely suppressed EEG).
Amplitude-Integrated EEG (aEEG)
Amplitude-Integrated EEG (aEEG) detects changes in signal amplitude. The unit of aEEG is μV. aEEG can be used, e.g., when evaluating epileptic seizure activity and monitoring the response to antiepileptic medication.
Alpha-Delta Ratio (ADR)
Indicates the ratio between EEG alpha (8-13 Hz) and delta (1-4 Hz) powers and can be used, e.g., when evaluating the EEG changes caused by delayed cerebral ischemia (DCI) after subarachnoid hemorrhage. There is no exact reference value for ADR. Therefore, the interpretation is based on the comparison of the difference between the right and left hemispheric ADR and the observation of possible sudden changes in the values.
Note that quantitative EEG parameters should always be interpreted in conjunction with the review of the original EEG signals. C-Trend EEG Software does not provide any diagnostic conclusion about the patient’s condition

Fast access to high quality EEG
- C-Trend EEG Electrode is a single-use, disposable medical device for recording EEG of adult patients, for up to 24 hours at a time. It has adhesive connections that are attached to the patient’s forehead, temples, cheeks and behind the ears
- C-Trend EEG Electrode incorporates an integrated array of 9 passive electrodes: Fp1, Fp2, F7, F8, Tp9 and Tp10 channels together with the grounds and reference. These connections give access to 6 channels on the monitor display.
- When more focal phenomena need to be monitored in the central and occipital areas of the brain, four additional cup electrodes may be attached to positions O1, O2, C5 and C6. Doing this will raise the number of monitored channels to 10.
- Attach the C-Trend EEG Electrode in minutes to get a continuous, high-quality EEG reading for up to 24 hours at a time.
